Photo/Videoshoot Coordination

Working with freelance talent is a direct way to the heart of your local community. By hiring independent professionals, you support the freelance economy, speed up your projects, and avoid the complexity of hiring an agency to do a one-time job.

However, not everyone has the time and the vision to go though a hundred portfolios and pick the right photographer.

So I do it for you.

Case Study: Interdev Technologies

The Challenge

Interdev Technologies is a SaaS B2B  company that built software for

first responder services.

Due to their product being niche, finding fitting stock footage for their marketing materials was a challenge.

High-quality videos and photos of the product had to look professional, ethical - due to the sensitivity of first responders' work - and versatile enough to reuse for years to come.

The Solution

I proposed hiring a freelance videographer and making their own DYI footage that could later be re-used in all their marketing materials as photos, videos, paid ad creatives, and GIFs. These video clips could also be edited into trailers.

They could use these clips and screenshots in email newsletters, social media posts, brochures, paid ads, and looped on the background at conferences and trade shows.

The Process

I reached out to local communities and gathered a list of freelancers with their rates and portfolio links; I then watched ~60 reels and determined the best talent for Interdev Technologies' needs.

I handled all the communication with the talent, drafted the contract, and developed a list of scenes that needed to be shot based on the product variety, and scenarios in which the product was used.

The Filming

Since the project had a low budget and the company was willing to get involved, it turned out to be a fun and productive day for both videographers and the employees with the costume change, minimal acting, and even driving a retired (!) ambulance truck.

It took us one day to shoot 6 mini-scenarios for 6 different software solutions Interdev Technologies offers. The videos were ready for us to use within a week.
